Basic Military Training (BMT) is a standard mandatory stage of service for everyone, regardless of their agreed role.
Every pilot, IT specialist, driver, or cook must know how to use a weapon, provide first aid, and understand the basic principles of military life — for their own safety.
*A special simplified BMT course is also available for those classified as “fit with limitations” by a Military Medical Commission.
*Completing BMT does not make you an infantry soldier.
You will serve in the role agreed upon during your interview — this is a core principle of the brigade. Your position is reserved for you throughout the enlistment process and Basic Military Training, so when you join the unit, you are guaranteed to serve in your chosen role.
After six months of service, you can choose to change your specialization within the brigade and try something new.
Yes. Magyar’s Birds service members are free to travel abroad while on leave. Time for rest between missions is also provided. Schedules depend on the combat situation and the specifics of each unit or department.
Yes. You can continue your service with Magyar’s Birds in a role matching your civilian profession or work with drones, with training provided if needed.
If you want to return to service with our unit, fill out the application form on the website. We’ll contact you if you’re a good fit.
Thorough planning, full equipment and support, and strict safety protocols keep personnel losses in Magyar’s Birds at around 1%.
Working with unmanned systems does not involve direct contact with the enemy, and most roles operate far from the line of contact.
But this is still war — that is important to remember.
